Since every space is unique in its size and character, its very common or recommended to commission a new work specifically to help create a "sense of place". As a matter process for me, no two works are exactly alike because of the uniqueness of places. Creating a new work can involve a site visit, reviewing design/construction plans for new spaces, budgeting, creatingsketch models, creating color/material samples and installation. Most public projects, corporate or health care related works or works for private collections are created through the commissioning process. Commissioning can happen directly with me or through a gallery and generally does not affect pricing. So, don't be afriad to ask questions.
